In accordance with article 10 of Law 34/2002, of the 11th July, of Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce, we inform you that our corporate website, available at the URL http://www.colegioareteia.es (hereinafter, “Areteia Website”) is managed and operated by ARETEIA, S.A., with registered address in Calle Salvia, 24, Alcobendas, (Madrid), with C.I.F. A-28650745 and recorded in the Trade Register of Madrid, Volume 3264, Section Companies Register, Page 20, Sheet M-55500 (hereinafter, “The School”).
For all legal purposes, the DATA PROTECTION POLICY found at the foot of every page on the Areteia Website is an integral part of the present terms.
- AUDIENCE FOR WHICH THE ARETEIA WEBSITE IS INTENDED.
The Areteia Website is intended for the public in general who require information about the activities, services and objectives of the School, offering in particular, information about its Educational Project, Educational Stages and both School time and Extracurricular Activities. The objective through the Website is to give the most comprehensive information possible to persons interested in the School, and for it to function as a tool or means of communication between the parents of the pupils and the School itself.
A user is considered to be a person who uses or navigates on the Areteia Website. This activity implies agreement to this legal text as well as to the published Data Protection Policies at all times when accessing this Website.
The content offered through the Areteia website is published for purely informational purposes, for which reason it will never be considered as contractual documents or documents generating obligations or rights.
Access to the content does not signify any type of guarantee on the part of the School regarding the adequacy, completeness, veracity or recency of update of said content, and which is made available to users via the Areteia Website. The School is exempt from any type of responsibility. However, the School will make every effort to keep the information up to date and correct any information which is wrong or inexact.
You recognise and accept that the School will not be obligated to confirm the veracity of any information you submit via the CONTACT FORM found on the Areteia Website, for which reason you are obligated to provide the School with true and complete information at all times.
The School does not guarantee the uninterrupted availability nor the continuous operation of the Areteia Website or any other area of this, and reserves the right to temporarily suspend access to the website or any of its areas in the event of technical problems, technological changes which require or advise it, or maintenance or improvement work, as well as the right to cease to operate the Areteia Website. In any case, whatever the reason may be, the School will not accept any type of responsibility.
The School will not be responsible for damage suffered as a consequence of the existence of any computer virus which could cause changes to computer systems.
Users agree to use the content offered through the Areteia Website appropriately and to not use it to (1) carry out activity which is illicit, illegal or against good faith or public order; (2) share content or propaganda which is racist, xenophobic, illegal, advocates terrorism or impinges on human rights; (3) cause damage to the School computer systems; (4) insert or share computer viruses on the School network or any other system which may cause damage; (5) develop activity to do with techniques for unauthorised decompilation or decoding of content.
Access to the website is free and free of charge.
The Areteia Website has been created and is managed in accordance with the legal requirements applicable in Spain, including in particular those relating to the Protection of Personal Data, Information Society Services and Intellectual and Industrial Property.
- LINKS TO AND ON OTHER WEBSITES
The School may include links to third-party websites on the Areteia Website. Such links are included directly by the School or its providers or contractors because they understand in good faith that, at the date of upload, these could be of interest to You as a source of information. However, the School does not accept any responsibility regarding the operation and/or suitability of such websites, nor the actions or omissions of those who operate them, or subsequent changes made to their content. Nor can the School guarantee that the content offered on the website is lawful or provides services to the quality which is appropriate and normally required. However, the School is committed to not linking to websites whose content carries implicit messages about activities which are illegal, xenophobic or could attack the principles of human liberty and dignity.
The presentation of the current website in a window of a different website via the technique of “framing” is forbidden, unless this is done with the express permission of the School.
The insertion of any type of content shared on the Areteia Website on another website different to this via the technique of “in line linking” is forbidden, unless this is done with the express permission of the School.
Establishing hyperlinks on other websites, which may direct to the home page of the present web site, or to any other internal page (“deep link”) of the website, is authorised, as long as the corresponding pages appear in a complete window and under their respective IP addresses, the person who establishes the hyperlink to the website assuming all responsibility and any risks which may arise.
- INDUSTRIAL AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS.
You recognise and accept that all Intellectual and Industrial Property Rights for each and every one of the elements which make up the Areteia Website (which includes but is not limited to: brands, logos, business names, text, images, graphics, designs, sound, videos, databases, software, flow charts, source codes in any format, presentation, “look-and-feel” and underlying technologies and procedures), belong at all times to the School and/or its licensors and/or providers of technology, content, products and/or services, for which reason these will be subject to Spanish and International Laws for the protection of Intellectual Property Rights. Any violation of this section will be a violation of Intellectual Property laws and may result in civil or criminal action.
The School recognises the importance of the security of information to ensure the correct operation of the Areteia Website and as a result, has adopted and will maintain at all times reasonable and appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorised access by third parties to restricted areas, complying at all times with the applicable laws regarding security measures for files which may contain data of a personal nature. Similarly, the Responsible party uses commercially available virus detection programmes to monitor all content on the Areteia Website.
In the same way, in case of conflict between the parts, the decision of the competent administrative or judicial bodies will be established according to the prevailing laws applicable at that moment.
